Macleans College celebrates Diwali

This year, Macleans College celebrated Diwali, with staff contributing to decorations, watching videos on the meaning and importance of Diwali and taking part in Rangoli decorating.

Diwali also known as the Festival of Lights is a Hindu religious festival and one of the most auspicious festivals within Hinduism. Diwali signifies the triumph of light over darkness, good over evil and the renewal of life.

Staff dressed up in traditional outfits to commemorate the celebration. Macleans College Principal Mr Hargreaves wished staff and students well for the festive season. Rangoli artwork was presented both in the Staffroom and outside the Administration Block.
