Macleans College achieves success in Engineering Science competition

In August 2019 a team of Year 13 students from Macleans College Isabel Li, Nicholas Yao, Kevin Hou and Richard Jiang (all of Upham House) were runners up in the New Zealand Engineering Science competition organised by the University of Auckland Department of Engineering Sciences.
This annual problem-solving competition is made up of Year 12 or 13 Mathematics or Science students.
Over 200 teams from around New Zealand participated in the competition this year. The team won a prize of $2,000 to be divided amongst the team.
The teachers involved with the competition were Dr Grose, Mr Phillips and Mr Wong.
