Lion dance group captivate audience at Epsom Library event

The Macleans College lion dance group had the honour of performing at the Dragon Boat Festival Tamariki Time event held at Epsom Library.

The audience, which included families from a senior care home and a local kindergarten, were treated to a vibrant and culturally rich performance. The lion dancers brought the traditional dance to life; captivating everyone with their vivid movements and colourful costumes.

After the performance, the excitement continued as the performers interacted with the audience, delighting both the young and the elderly by throwing lollies. The joy and enthusiasm from the crowd was heartwarming, making the event truly memorable for all.

Epsom Library expressed their gratitude to the Macleans College lion dance group for their participation. The students were thrilled to have been a part of such a special celebration, sharing the beauty of the Chinese culture with the community.
