Leadership Camp for 2017 School Prefects

On Friday 20 January, 53 school prefects and six staff embarked on a three day camp at Motu Moana Camp in West Auckland.
The prefects fully immersed themselves in the organised team building and adventure activities which included kayaking and rock climbing.
They were also required to cook their own dinner, complete a confidence course and help clean and paint the Scout camp grounds where they stayed. As well as this they were involved in planning for the year ahead and sharing ideas about what makes a successful leader and a successful school. The staff were very impressed with the students and are looking forward to working with them in 2017.
The school prefects will be presented at the first school assembly of the year on Friday 27 January where they will receive their badges.
