Junior Sports exchange
Posted on October 20, 2020
On Friday 16 October, Macleans College hosted a group of 70 junior students from Onehunga High School to compete in the Inaugural Sports Exchange between the two schools.
Onehunga High School sent students from their JETS sports academy to play off in games of Basketball, Football, Netball and Rugby. This was a great opportunity for these students to round out their year of hard work with some matches against an external opposition, while also providing the Macleans College students with an opportunity to experience more sport in what has been a very disrupted 2020.
All of the students tried their best and did themselves very proud, showing that there is a great amount of talent coming through the junior programmes in each sport.
The College is looking forward to growing the relationship with Onehunga High school moving forward across a wider cross-section of school sport.
