Junior Production proves to be an amazing experience

Me, My Selfie, and I, the 2023 Junior Production, was performed from 26 – 28 October.
A heart-wrenching story about a young girl reflecting on her short-lived experience in a new culture of self-promotion, self-involvement, and social media. The junior cast of 17 students, ranging from Years 9 to 11, told the stories of teenagers trying to fit into a new and crazy environment. But with the help of the incredible directors - Miss Wong, Miss Kobus, and Mr Fitzpatrick - this journey was made so much more enjoyable.
At the start of this production, the whole cast were strangers to each other. And much like the characters in the play, they were exploring a new and strange adventure together. They turned into much more than castmates, but family. The show made a positive impact on all students as not only performers, but people.
The 2023 Junior Production was an amazing experience for all involved. The cast had so much fun not only bonding over the introspective (and yet hilarious) script, but also during the moments offstage. The not-so-quiet whispering in the wings, the line memorising, dancing to “Primadonna Girl” on repeat, the hot chips from Priestley Drive, and the many selfies taken.
