Junior Instrumental Showcase 2019

This year’s Junior Instrumental Showcase was held on Sunday 11 August.
The concert featured the college’s Symphonic Band and Sinfonietta, the training groups for the senior Concert Band and Symphony Orchestras.
Directed by Yih-hsin Huang and Joanne Johnstone, the students performed their repertoire in preparation for the annual KBB music festival which will once again be held at the Holy Trinity Cathedral in Parnell.
Concluding the concert were the college Chamber Orchestra which this year has been largely student led. The chamber orchestra featured soloists Kevin Guan (Upham House) and Lorna Zhang (Mansfield) on Violin in a demanding and varied programme of works form the Baroque to Romantic periods.
