Joint Dux Award for 2016

Lucas Lee (Hillary House 2012 – 2016) recently collected a cheque and cup for his award of Dux 2016 which he was awarded jointly with Ben Zhang (Deputy Head Boy 2017).
Unfortunately, Lucas was unable to attend the Scholars’ Assembly in early March when this award was presented.
Lucas was awarded one of the NZQA Premier Scholar Awards for 2016. This award is given to the very top 5 to 10 candidates in New Zealand. The minimum requirement to be considered is at least three Scholarships at “Outstanding” Level. Lucas achieved this in Calculus, Statistics, Chemistry, Physics, and Accounting. He also received Scholarships in English, Geography and Economics.
He gained a CIE High Achievement in A Level Economics and AS Accounting.
Lucas gained an A* Grade in 4 subjects at A Level.
Lucas is currently looking at offers from Harvard, Princeton and Caltech Universities in the U.S.A.
