International Success for Macleans College Student

Elisa Martin Moses 13BHH and Joape Nagera from Rotorua Boys’ High School last month represented New Zealand in the 9th Chinese Bridge Proficiency Competition held in Kunming, China.
This is held for foreign secondary school students. After a series of rounds of the competition the New Zealand team were made the Oceania Champions and were ranked one of the top five teams in the world.
Eighty nine countries and ninety one teams participated in this international event.
Both members of the New Zealand team won Confucius Institute Scholarships to study in China for one year with all expenses paid for.
