International students from Europe and Asia explore wildlife sanctuary

The Macleans College International Department recently took all new International students on a day trip to Tiritiri Matangi Island.

The group of 27 students from France, Germany, Belgium, China and Thailand arrived at Macleans College for the commencement of Term 3.

Located in the Hauraki Gulf, Tiritiri Matangi is one of New Zealand’s oldest island sanctuaries - brimming with wildlife rarely seen on the mainland. The students enjoyed experiencing the native New Zealand flora and fauna.
