International students experience glow-worms and kiwi

A group of 20 international students, accompanied by two staff travelled to Waitomo Caves and Kiwi House in Ōtorohanga at the end of the 2022 school year.
The weather was kind and allowed the students to enjoy their trip outside of Auckland. Known as one of New Zealand’s best natural attractions, the highlight of the day was the boat ride through the glow-worm grotto.
The students were fortunate enough to see two kiwi up close and active at Kiwi House, as well as other unique native birds and reptiles.
