International Students discover Auckland Zoo

Eleven short-term International Students attended an Auckland Zoo Lates event earlier this month.
The Zoo Lates session allowed the students from Brazil, France, Germany and Japan to explore the Auckland Zoo after school until closing time at 8.00 pm.
The students enjoyed Zookeeper’s talks about spider monkeys and giraffes, and they each took turns at holding a real ostrich egg. Time was also provided to explore the zoo in groups. The evening concluded with an ice-cream at one of the zoo cafés.
The students were in great spirits, and represented Macleans College and their schools back at home with pride.
