International Competitions and Assessments for Schools (ICAS) 2024

Macleans College will again be participating in the ICAS Assessments this year.

ICAS is an on-line academic competition that is designed to assess students’ higher order thinking and problem-solving skills and is offered to students in Years 9 to 13 in English, Mathematics and Science.

Each assessment celebrates students’ accomplishments by providing opportunities for recognition and development. Every student who participates will receive a printed certificate and an online results report. Top performers will be eligible for medals.

Please note, participation in ICAS assessments is not compulsory.

These assessments will be completed at school, commencing at 7.30 am on the dates listed below. Students should have a suitable BYOD device, e.g. Laptop, iPad or Android tablet, to complete the assessment.

• The cost is $21.50 (incl GST) for each subject.
• The school access code is: NVV201
• Enter your child’s details, select the tests you would like to purchase, then proceed to payment. 

After payment is made via the Parent Payment System, you will receive an order confirmation email, please keep this for your records.

Important:

Closing date for purchasing assessments via Parent Payment System for all subjects is Friday 26 July 2024. No late entries can be accepted.

  *Please note: This date coincides with the Cambridge practice exams for Year 12 and Year 13 students.
