Intercultural Mufti Day 2020

On Thursday 25 June 2020, Macleans College held the inaugural Intercultural Mufti Day to celebrate the wide range of cultures within the school.
Macleans College students took up the opportunity to dress culturally or in the colours of their nationality’s flag to share appreciation and celebrate the vast diversity of cultures within the school. Students brought in gold coins and cans, which were donated to the Auckland City Mission.
Headed and coordinated by the Intercultural Executive - President Jessica Zhang (Upham House), and executive Darsh Chaudhari (Batten), Annika Lee (Snell), Jamie Lee (Kupe), and Kevin Jiang (Batten) - the Intercultural Mufti Day was a great success, seeing a large number of both students and staff taking part.
