Intercultural Club Food Festival

Posted on July 06, 2017

The Annual Intercultural Club Food Festival was held on Thursday June 29th at lunchtime in the school amphitheatre.

The Intercultural Club manages over 15 different clubs which meet either at lunchtime or after school. Each of these clubs set up stalls in the amphitheatre and sold a wide range of culturally diverse foods such as macarons and crepes by the French Club, odeng and Korean barbeque for the Korean Traditional Dance Club and the Korean Drums Club and nachos by the Spanish Club.

All money raised will be donated to the club's main charity which is Starship Hospital.

Many thanks to the Intercultural Club president, Vicky Hu (Hillary House) and the executive members, Gordon Liu (Te Kanawa), Jess Kwong (Te Kanawa), Ansel Wong (Batten) and Maryam Madawi (Mansfield) for organising this event.

Another Starship fundraiser will be held on Saturday August 5th at Botany Town Centre where the Intercultural Club will be showcasing performances by all the performing clubs.
