Inaugural Night of Intercultural
Posted on August 01, 2018
Macleans College's first ever "Night of Intercultural" was held recently in the Colin Prentice Auditorium.
It was a combined event of Chinese and Korean culture featuring two nights of dancing, singing, rapping and guitar playing from a mixture of Asian cultures. Student performances were outstanding and many excelled on stage.
The commitment of those behind the scenes was exceptional and the audience reaction to the night was outstanding.
Many thanks to all those involved in the planning and staging of the event, especially the Intercultural Executive Annika Yuanru Xu - ICC president (Hillary House), Xixi Lin - executive (Kupe) and John Yang – executive (Hillary) and the teachers Mrs Hoshino, Mr Miles, Dr Luton, Mrs Cottell-Mayhew, Ms Ladkoo, Ms Ashby, Ms Chui, Ms Xu, Mr Ng and Mr Walthaus
