Impressive Results in Mathematics Competition

The 2018 Australian Mathematics Trust Awards were held at Selwyn College on Monday 29 October.
This competition is one of the world’s largest mathematics competitions with 15 million entries since its inception in 1978.
A highly impressive 28 Macleans College students ranging from Years 9 – 13 received various levels of recognition including High Distinction, Prizes and Medallists.
Those who received High Distinction were:

William Han Year 12 of Upham House was only one of the two medalists for 2018. He represented New Zealand at the 59th International Olympiad held in Romania in July where he was awarded a silver medal which was an outstanding achievement.
