IGCSE Geography Students Collect Data
Posted on August 10, 2017
Last week two IGCSE Geography classes visited Auckland CBD to compare and collect data in a real world environment.
Mrs Heeney, Mr Quesnell and Miss Hudson lead the group of Geography students. The students visited different suburbs with varying land uses, such as Glen Innes, Mt Wellington, and Ponsonby. This helped the students to identify how the population and settlement of Auckland has changed over time.
The students also visited the summit of Mt Eden to witness a panoramic view of Auckland city. In the city the students completed data collection, which will assist them with their end of year examination.
