Himalayan Trust visit

Last week Sarah Hillary and Prue Smith (General Manager of the Himalayan Trust) were welcomed at a Hillary House assembly during which a cheque for $10,000 was presented to the Trust.
The association between the Trust and Macleans College has existed for more than 25 years. The funds raised over the years have contributed to the education of many Nepalese and more recently to the Everest region of Nepal following a devastating earthquake in 2015.
Sympathy and service are one of the Macleans College key values which have been espoused by the Principal, Mr Bentley during his tenure at the school.
