Girls squash players take first place at Open Tournament

The Macleans College Squash Development team recently participated in the College Sport Open Tournament.

This competition is specifically designed for students who are new to the game of squash.

The Open B Girls finished first in their division and the Junior Girls placed third. The boys put up a great fight despite intense competition from other Auckland schools.

The tournament was an incredible experience - proving to be extremely fun, as well as an amazing learning experience. All students who took part displayed improvement in their skills, even between games.

Thank you to Mr Chang and Mr Wong for chaperoning and coaching the students throughout the day.
