Funds raised on UNICEF Day 2021

Posted on August 09, 2021

On Thursday 5 August the annual UNICEF Day was held, involving over 200 students who collaborated to sell a wide variety of food and games in order to raise money for charity.

Amassing hundreds of students and staff alike, the charity event was a huge success. Foods such as wontons, popcorn, candy floss, hotpot, fire noodles, sausages, hot chips, bubble tea, and much more were enjoyed by members of the Macleans College community, as well as games such as chocolate toss, and ring toss.

The event raised funds of over $2,000, all of which will be going to UNICEF.

UNICEF Executives Samuel Zheng (Mansfield House), Annika Lee (Snell), Wei Tian Teo (Rutherford), Sarujan Yogeswaran (Mansfield), William Huang (Mansfield), Mushfiqur Khan (Mansfield), Karylle Soriano (Batten), and Eric Deng (Mansfield) managed, coordinated, and oversaw all aspects of the charity fundraiser initiative.

Many thanks to Mrs Coventry for her support, and all the students who were involved in the construction of this fantastic fundraising event.
