A number of former students are making excellent progress with their performing arts careers in various parts of the world.
They include:
Kiel Tutin (Upham House 2009 – 2013)
Kiel began his career at The Palace Dance Studio, performing and teaching as a co-choreographer of dance crews 'Sorority', 'Kings' and 'The Royal Family'. His work at the World Hip Hop International Championships resulted in seven medals, including four world titles.
Kiel has travelled the world to teach his signature style, holding masterclasses across Australasia, Asia, North America and Europe. He has cemented himself as a positive force at the forefront of the NZ dance industry. His work involves choreographing music videos, award shows and world tours for music icons such as Jennifer Lopez, Taiwanese superstar Jolin Tsai, girl group BLACKPINK, Stan Walker and more recently Hailee Steinfeld.
In January 2017 Kiel was appointed Creative Director at 3WJ+boy, a talent management company for dancers, models, musicians and artists.
Shyvon Campbell (Upham House 2007 – 2010)
Shyvon is a professional dancer, trained under NZ choreographer Parris Goebel. Shyvon was a prominent member of dance crew 'The Royal Family', which resulted in her professional career taking off when she featured in Justin Bieber's music video 'Sorry'.
