Former student stars in local TV drama series

Zoe Jansson-Bush (Upham House 2014 – 2018) has had a number of recent successes in her drama career.
In 2018 Zoe starred in Find My Killer, a 10 episode TVNZ OnDemand drama series in which digital technology plays a pivotal role in a police investigation. Zoe played the part of 17-year-old Mia Bryant who is reported missing after a West Auckland party. Zoe’s character Mia narrates the series.

Last year Zoe starred in the five-part NZ crime drama series The Bad Seed. The Bad Seed follows the Lampton family, whose quiet suburban lifestyle is rocked by the murder of one of their neighbours. Zoe played the part of teenage daughter Claire Lampton. This series was also broadcast in the United Kingdom.

During her time at Macleans College Zoe played the part of Lady Macbeth in Macbeth, Grandma in The Addams Family, and Veruca Salt in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. In 2016 and 2017 she was awarded Actress of the Year at the annual Macleans College Senior Prizegiving.
Zoe is currently studying a Bachelor of Arts at The University of Auckland.
