Former Student is selected to represent New Zealand

Lauren Harris, a past pupil from Te Kanawa House 2011-2015, has recently been selected to represent New Zealand in the Junior Black Sticks squad. They will tour Australia in January 2017.
Her involvement in Hockey has been at both school and regional levels. Lauren has been a member of the Howick and Pakuranga Hockey Club since 2003. She has represented Auckland Hockey since 2007 at various levels from U13 to U18 teams.
While at Macleans College Lauren held the positions of Captain/ Co-Captain and Vice-Captain of the 1st XI Girls Hockey team. She was named Senior Player of the Year in 2015.
