Former Student Fundraising for the Halberg Disability Sports Foundation
Posted on November 07, 2016
Luke Johnson (Snell House 2009 – 2013) is planning to walk the 1300km South Island portion of the Te Araroa Trail to raise money for the Halberg Disability Sports Foundation.
He will begin this in early December after his examinations at the University of Otago have been completed. Luke expects the walk to take approximately 60 days. He acknowledged that his interest with the charity began while a student of Snell House. Each of the whanau houses at Macleans College have their own charity. Luke received his Gold Duke of Edinburgh award in 2014.
