Former Macleans Student Planning Next Acting Role

Former Head Girl Angela Zhou has been featured in a NZ Herald article after landing a lead role in the American television series Hell on Wheels.
In the fifth and final season of <i>Hell on Wheels</i> Angela plays the part of Fong, a Chinese girl disguised as a boy to work on the construction of the first transcontinental railroad across the United States in the late 1880’s.
During her time at Macleans College Angela was a keen actress, participating in school productions, choir and Stage Challenge. At the end of Year 13 Angela was awarded the prestigious Robertson Scholarship to attend Duke University in North Carolina, where she graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor’s degree in Politics, Economics and Creative Media.
Angela is currently undertaking auditions in the US for further acting work.
