First Prize in Spanish National Speech Competition

Students from around the country have to prepare a three minute presentation on a topic disclosed only a few days before the event. The topic for Year 11 was Healthy Living, Sport and Free Time.

Chris Preece's (11KSR) entry was outstanding, and although the competition was tough, his talent and dedication were recognised with the First Prize.

As a way to further develop his language skills, Chris will also be taking part on a three month exchange in Spain during the summer holidays.
