First Place in National Secondary Schools Case Competition

Macleans College recently won the National Secondary Schools Case Competition, held at the Business School of the University of Auckland.
The team, comprised of Jason Chan (Hillary House), Davis Fong (Upham), Henry Lockhart (Kupe), and Anjie Wang (Kupe). They successfully made their way through three rounds of the consulting-style competition, beating 85 other teams from around the country.
They were given three hours to come up with business strategies that try to resolve some current problems that the firm ‘Onzo’ faces. Then they presented their solution on a paper PowerPoint to a panel of esteemed judges.
The team received a tour of the university after the finals, as well as having a chance to network with university clubs and senior teachers of the business school.
