Fantastic performance at the National Chess Finals

The Macleans College Chess Team had an impressive performance during the recent National Chess Tournament which was held in Mount Maunganui.
Out of the twenty teams which included Auckland Grammar School and Westlake Boys’ High School that participated in the secondary schools category Macleans College emerged the winners.
The team consisted of Judd Zhan (Snell House), Richard Jiang (Upham), Terry Shen (Te Kanawa), Kevin Guan (Upham) and Oliver Dai (Snell).
