ESOL Immersion students gain inspiration at MOTAT
Posted on June 22, 2021
Recently the ESOL senior Immersion students visited the Museum of Technology and Transport (MOTAT).
The students have been working in groups in their Business class studies, to develop a business plan in readiness for a Market Day in Term 3.
The students found the discussions on innovation very interesting and seeing how products have evolved.
The entrepreneurship displayed in the Silver Linings: Aotearoa innovation during Covid exhibition provided the students with inspiration to develop their own products, packaging and businesses in ways that were previously unimaginable. All the displays in this area were linked to needs and wants that came about as a result of the pandemic and how various individuals and businesses sought to fill them through their products and services.
The ride on the tram and the visit to the Aviation Display Hall added to the enjoyment of the day.
