Entrepreneurial Success for Macleans College

On Tuesday 6 December, three Year 13 students, Kerman Kohli, Keerthana Ananth and Andreas Knapp (all members of Mansfield House), travelled to Wellington to receive two Excellence Awards for their company Ed.Life at the The Lion Foundation Young Enterprise Scheme National Awards.
The formal awards ceremony was held at Te Papa Museum, hosted by comedian Te Radar and guest speakers included Governor-General, Her Excellency The Rt Hon Dame Patsy Reddy, The Deputy Prime Minister, The Hon Bill English and Economic Development Minister, Steven Joyce.
The three Macleans College Directors of Ed.Life received an excellence award for Greatest Growth Potential and another for Innovation in Technology, taking away $2,000 in prize money.
Ed.Life is an all-in-one mobile app platform that enables students to organise and manage their academic life. Available in eight different languages the application has achieved 35,000 downloads globally. Over 10,000 students are using the app monthly to manage their homework schedules and class timetables.
