Duke of Edinburgh Achievements

A large number of Macleans College students were recognised at school assembly recently.

The Duke of Edinburgh Award, a prestigious youth award programme was founded in 1956 for 14 to 24 year olds. The award recognises achievement in a range of areas from volunteering to physical challenges.

The participants must work on each section for a minimum period of time. They are monitored and assessed during this time.

The award categories are Bronze, Silver and Gold.
