Cycling New Zealand Northern Tour 2022

The Cycling New Zealand Northern Tour was held recently as part of Winter Tournament Week.

Held in Auckland, the Northern Tour included three stages: an Individual Time Trial, Hill Climb and Criterium. The tour also incorporated the National Schools Individual Time Trial and National School Hill Climb titles.

The following members of the Macleans College Road Cycling team competed: Tyler Anderson (Kupe House), Judd Brown (Mansfield), Kyle Chen (Te Kanawa), Ryan Dukeson (Hillary), Jordan Meyer (Kupe) and Finn Wilson (Upham).

Congratulations to Finn Wilson who gained second place in the U20 National Hill Climb. He was just 0.87 seconds away from achieving the national jersey - an outstanding performance for his first year in this age group.
