Climbing skills put to the test in Year 12 Physical Education

Macleans College students of Year 12 Physical Education recently visited Extreme Edge in Panmure for a day of indoor rock climbing.

Working towards their NCEA practical assessment, the students had earlier completed a day of climbing in Term 2. They then planned and implemented a training programme to improve their climbing ability for the most recent visit.

The students worked exceptionally hard on their four week programmes and were rewarded with success on some very challenging climbing walls.
