CEO Mika Leah addresses Macleans College Z Club

The Macleans College Z Club members recently attended a presentation by guest speaker, Mika Leah, CEO and founder of the Goomi Group.
Originally from the United States of America, Mika made New Zealand her home while running a US-based international business. Goomi Group is designed to offer affordable health and wellness programmes for the corporate world. Mika shared her journey of building this business. She described how Covid-19 impacted her work and led her to incorporate innovation.
A health scare as a young, fit mum led Mika to look at ways she could increase awareness of female health. Her message to Z Club members was to encourage open discussion and support, starting at home. Mika congratulated the Z Club on their efforts and service in the community.
The Macleans College Z Club gives students the opportunity to interact and work together with experienced Zonta International sponsors. Zonta International is a global organisation dedicated to empowering women worldwide through service and advocacy.
