Centre for Science and Citizenship

On Thursday April 5th Extension Studies at Macleans College welcomed members of the Centre for Science and Citizenship to run a workshop on ethical issues at the beginning of life.
Among the topics covered were stem cell research, genetic testing, bio bags, crispr, and saviour siblings.
Senior students from Macleans College, Westlake Girls’ High School, St Peter’s College, and St Cuthbert’s College were engaged in an interactive and charged environment, and relished the opportunity to share, develop, and evaluate their ideas and opinions.
