Business Studies students undertake product validation at Macleans College Carnival

Posted on May 01, 2023

All NCEA Level 3 Business Studies students undertook a market research process as part of the first of several challenges that make up the National Young Enterprise Competition.

The Macleans College Community Carnival was a great opportunity for the students to GOOB (Get Out of the Building) and talk to people in their target markets that they don’t already know. The students presented their MVP (Minimal Viable Product) and prototypes to potential customers in order to gain feedback, which can then be used to build a better product.

It was pleasing to see the great response and sales that were made. Revenues made at the carnival will be reinvested to further develop and produce products.
