Bronze medals at Fencing National U15 and Cadet Championships

Year 9 student Larry Lin (Batten House) travelled to Christchurch to represent Macleans College at the Fencing National Under 15 and Cadet Championships.
In the Cadet Men’s Foil, Larry fenced extremely well and won against a fencer from French Polynesia at the table of 16 to receive a bronze medal. In the U15 Men’s Foil, Larry also achieved a bronze medal after knocking out the first seed and progressing to the semi-final.
Larry achieved success earlier this year when he placed sixth overall in the Men’s Foil at the National Schools Fencing Tournament.
