Macleans College aerobics gymnast awarded bronze medal at Australian Gymnastics Championships

Year 12 Macleans College student Cerys O’Loughlin (Upham House) was selected to represent New Zealand at the Australian Gymnastics Championships, held on the Gold Coast last month.
The competition featured the best gymnasts from each state in Australia, aiming to achieve the title of national champion.
Cerys and her New Zealand teammates qualified to attend the championships in the Junior International Aerodance category, and placed third, receiving a bronze medal.
The team trains at Rise Aerobics, an aerobic gymnastics club in Howick.
