Macleans College students rank in top 1% of digital financial platform

Three students from Macleans College were awarded a Certificate of Excellence for exceptional performance and ranking among the top 1% globally in Banqer High, a digital financial education platform.
As part of the Year 9 Financial Literacy course at Macleans College, Banqer High is used to enhance learning via real-life experiences.
Banqer is an internationally recognised leader in financial education. They aim to improve the financial capabilities of students by facilitating teaching and learning via an online platform that includes a stock exchange simulation, insurance, Kiwisaver, banking and budgeting. The Banqer High platform also provides guidance on student loans and renting. Students are able to choose between employment options and research a variety of careers.
The Certificate of Excellence recipients are Danny Ge (Snell House), Anthony Hu (Kupe) and Isabella Lyn (Hillary). These students all agreed that diligence, consistency and hard work throughout the Year 9 Financial Literacy course, coupled with active engagement in Banqer High, enabled them to perform to their greatest potential.
