Author-Illustrator presents to senior Design students

Year 12 Design students recently had the opportunity to attend an artist talk hosted by Macleans College Library staff, in conjunction with the Storylines Festival.

New Zealand Author and Illustrator David Elliot, presented to the students a summary of his career and the personal experiences that have impacted the nature and content of his work. He also discussed his drawing and illustrative process, and how he creates and refines his works ready for publication.

David Elliot has worked in Antarctica and in the Edinburgh Zoo where sharing his environment with wild animals and observation has helped to shape his illustrative practise.
