AUT Shadow a Leader

Shadow a Leader Day is an initiative of AUT’s Faculty of Business, Economics and Law, where Auckland secondary school students and AUT students are given the opportunity to follow an industry leader for a day.

This took place on Tuesday 4 July, with Everett Kjestrup (Kupe House) and Amy Hargreaves (Snell) at PWC and Air New Zealand respectively for the day. 

Seventy-eight students from forty schools across Auckland and seventy-eight AUT Faculty of Business, Economics and Law students were provided insight into the day-to-day workings of leadership in action, including strategy meetings and presentations.

The valuable time with their industry leaders gave the students an abundance of knowledge that will help them with their career paths.
