Auckland Tough Guy & Gal Challenge

Posted on July 07, 2016

Approximately 50 students and staff competed in the Auckland Tough Guy & Gal challenge at Woodhill Equestrian Centre on Sunday 3rd July.

The students from Rutherford house were set a challenge to see if they could complete the race and do it all for a good cause. The challenge was to step outside their comfort zone to do something good for others, and in the meantime raise as much money as they could for the house charity Cure Kids. Let's get dirty for Cure Kids was the motto.

Before the event, Cure Kids representative Tiff Mitchell, her daughter Eva and Art Green the "NZ bachelor" came to house assembly to provide support and give t-shirts out to the top fundraisers.

It was a fantastic event and all students thoroughly enjoyed the race.

To date over $8,100 has been raised from this race for Cure Kids by the staff and students of Rutherford House.
