Premier Mixed Touch team place third in Auckland Championships

The Macleans College Premier Mixed Touch team recently competed at the Auckland Touch Championships at Bruce Pulman Park.
Many teams from across the Auckland region were competing for the first time since the national championships in December.
The Macleans College team played well with wins against One Tree Hill College, James Cook High School and Selwyn College in the pool play, gaining places in the quarter-finals and semi-finals. After a very narrow loss in the semi-final against Papatoetoe High School, the team won their playoff to finish in third place. Congratulations to all members of the team.
The team will start their training again in Term 3 to represent Macleans College at the National Secondary Schools Touch Championship in Rotorua in December.
