Auckland Division 2 Squash Champions

Held over two days at the National Squash Centre and North Shore Squash Club, 22 schools competed for Division 1 and 2 shields.

The Macleans College boys’ team recorded a clean sweep of wins against Green Bay High School 5-0, Rutherford College 3-2, Mt Albert Grammar School 4-1 and King’s College 4-1.

The boys’ team are Mantra Shukla (Snell House), Michael Steele (Upham), Corne De Waal (Mansfield), Shaheer Rizwan and Harrison Madden (Rutherford).

The Macleans College girls’ team also finished top of the table with wins against Avondale College 4-1, Westlake Girl’s High School 3-2, Mt Albert Grammar School 5-0 and Western Springs College 4-1.

The girls’ team are Amy Xie (Kupe), Kelly Sang (Kupe), Valerie Lau (Batten), Amelie Lianto (Snell) and Shreya Choudhry (Mansfield).
