AS Geography trip to Waitomo Caves

The Macleans College AS Geography students visited the Waitomo Caves in week 5 on Friday 28 February.
The trip was designed to give them primary experience of a limestone landscape. They embraced the cold waters of the caves as they took part in Black Water Rafting after witnessing the unique landscape of the Aranui and Waitomo cave networks, including stalactites and stalagmites.
