Art students gather visual imagery at the Howick Historical Village
Posted on March 29, 2021
Year 11 Macleans College Visual Arts students visited the Howick Historical Village on 22 March to investigate some of the local area’s history and processes of colonisation.
Students gathered a huge range of visual imagery through photography and drawing along with the narratives of individuals who were early immigrants to New Zealand.
Images collected on the trip will be incorporated into student artworks throughout the year.
