Art Awards Prizegiving

On Tuesday 19 September the Art Department celebrated the service of the extra-curricular groups and the outstanding commitment of selected art students.
Certificates and art badges were presented to:
- The exhibition group
- Enviro art group
- Art recycling team
- Photography monitors
- School photographers
- Art monitors
- Digital art and design group.
Special awards were presented to Charlie Stringer 13RESS for commitment and achievement in Photography, Hannah Sutcliffe 13HUMR for commitment and achievement in Painting and Jess Kwong 13HAWT for commitment and achievement in design.
Jess Kwong was also presented with a special service award for her outstanding service from Year 9 to Year 13 as an art monitor and leader. She has assisted in every art exhibition event throughout her time at Macleans College.
Bobby Crouch 13WONH won the “Swag Cup” which was donated to the school by former Maclean’s Art department monitors to honour the student who exhibited a special commitment and presence to the department.
