Annual Intercultural Food Festival

Posted on May 02, 2019

In the last week of Term 1 the Macleans College Intercultural Committee held their annual Cultural Food Festival in celebration of the diverse cultures within the school.

All the various foods were set-up and organised by the clubs in the Intercultural Committee, who had all worked hard to organise this annual event.

Many delicious foods and beverages were sold, such as bubble tea, sushi, samosas, noodles and more. Many Macleans College students turned up to try foods from around the world and enjoy the festive atmosphere.

There were also members of the dance clubs dressed up in costumes to further celebrate the event.

President John Yang (Hillary House) and members of the executive team,  Xixi Lin (Kupe), Darsh Chaudhari (Batten), Selena Guo (Batten) and Jessica Zhang (Upham) managed and organised the event.

Special thanks to all the teachers in charge of Intercultural Club for their generous help in planning this event.
