A Level Design and Technology

A number of Macleans College students travelled down to Wellington recently to visit a range of exhibitions related to their course.
They included the Gallipoli Scale of Our War and the Dreamworks Animation exhibitions both located at Te Papa, the National Museum of New Zealand. They also enjoyed a behind the scenes tour of the Weta Workshop.
The trip provided the students with the ability to see the high level of design work and presentation which some of the top movie design companies demand. They saw a huge range of design techniques, media and model making.
Mr Norris and Mr Hey accompanied the students on the trip.
